Jump into surgery! Are you any combination of a cataract/refractive/glaucoma/general ophthalmologist? Or are you a retinal specialist who enjoys cataract surgery? We have an attractive 12,500 SF office and adjacent ASC. Searching for a team player owner ophthalmologist who is energetic, motivated, managerial, personable and has excellent patient skills. Well respected and established in 1991 ophthalmology 2 MD 1 OD practice with strong optometry and physician referral base. You will join a leading, longstanding, growing practice that is principally premium cataract surgery, general, refractive and plastics (one MD is fellowship trained in oculoplastics).

Cedar Rapids, Iowa is rated as one of the top cities for "living the American dream", and is 88 of the top 100 places to live in the U.S. It is 25 miles north of University of Iowa in Iowa City. It has some of the nation's best public schools. Quality of life is high, commute times are short and job satisfaction is high. Practice pulls from 300,000 + population. Combine great lifestyle with a turn-key practice, offering excellent compensation achieved by the 1 percentile. Ideally you would own and manage the office. The current ophthalmologists in their late 50's and middle aged optometrist would like to practice with you for many more years. The office is equipped with Cirrus OCT, Zeiss HVF, Zeiss IOL masters, Tomey ECC, digital fundus/FA camera, Argon, Nidek YAG laser, SLT laser, Alcon Allegretto excimer laser, computerized EHR, EMR, Haag-Streit slit lamps and the best comprehensive support team/staff. Guaranteed first year salary of $400K to $650K package based on experience •Bonus incentivized •Malpractice insurance •Healthcare benefit •Flexible vacation/continuing education paid time off. Own this well established practice at a reasonable buy-in. You should plan on ramping up to over 20 cataracts per week, giving intravitreal injections and performing LASIK and other laser procedures. Any fellowship training is a strong plus along with a strong comprehensive background.
